ABOUT MISSION POSSIBLE
“She’s a human dynamo who wants to take some to heaven
with her, as she promulgates the gospel through counseling, life coaching, training, living, loving,
caring and giving—food to the hungry, clothes to the needy, helping those in prison, helping the
hurting and the oppressed.”
- Dr. Frederick Sampson

Our office at 2400 Poplar has been our home since 1980. It is centrally located and in reach of the total Memphis community.
Mission Possible is a Christian based Outreach 501c3 non-profit entity organized in 1980 after Ms. Thelma Nelms, a group of friends, postal and federal co-workers had labored long in prayer.
We provide guidance, counseling, basic life coaching and training for the poor and affluent in seminars and retreats focusing on workplace and family issues. Current training efforts are: Counseling, Anger Management and Violence Prevention.
We are grateful for the God given opportunity to serve the Memphis community by providing Christian based counseling to the emotionally distressed, food and clothing to the indigent, assistance to widows, seniors and youth, and confidential guidance to leaders. We provided over 9,000 services in 2017. In 2018, we responded to 7000 calls for the needy, the poor - the hurting. We provided 10, 852 services in 2019. The calls continue!
